HOW DO I CONVERT TO A BORE WITH EXISTING RETIC OFF THE MAINS?

Converting retic from the mains to a bore can be quite simple if you follow these basic steps:

–        Connecting the existing mainline reticulation to the bore mainline.

–        Disconnect the master valve wire and connect the bore pump wire to the controller

–        Disconnecting the master solenoid or mains water supply to the retic, This can be done by physically removing the master valve or simply disconnecting the wires and shutting off your isolation valve from the mains cut-in

Please bear in mind you will have significantly more pressure which may result in burst pipes or sprinklers, The best option is to loop two or more stations together to prevent any problems.

This will also give you a secondary pressure relief valve. If one solenoid valve was to fail then there would still be another running preventing damage to your pump and motor.
